Let us introduce ourselves

My name is Jurgita McFadden.  My husband, Josh, and I are the caretakers at Willow Family Child Care in Wheaton.  We were married in June of 2003 and have two children.  Our daughter Marija is 4 years old and our son Austin is almost a  year.   I attended a Teacher Training University studying early childhood development.  I have been working with children for about ten years with five of those years running Willow Family Child Care.  We continue our education attending yearly conferences and monthly meetings held by the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn Child Care Association.  We joined the Association in April of 2006 and became Co-Vice Presidents in August of the same year.

Our Child Care doors opened in May of 2005 and we became licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services as a group home daycare in August of 2005.  We provide high quality child care in a safe, stable, loving family environment. Our every day curriculum is based on each child's needs that stimulates self esteem, critical thinking, communication, creativity and physical skills development.  We believe a child's well being and health comes not only from a balanced routine, but also from a healthy diet. That is why we provide all natural meals prepared fresh every day.  Our home setting provides children a first floor playroom along with a large fenced in outdoor play area.
